Eleven individuals received their Dental Assisting/Dental Hygiene pins at a ceremony in Crounse Hall at West Kentucky Community and Technical College March 27.

Dental Hygiene 2009 Class President Laura Lee received the Academic Excellence Award and Jennifer Oakley received the Hu-Friedy Golden Scaler Award.

Marylou Elfen, a 2009 Dental Assistant student, received the Academic Excellence Award and Julie Lee received the Outstanding Dental Assistance Award.

The students will be recognized during the college’s May 14 Honors Ceremony at 6:30 pm in the Haws Gymnasium.
