More than 200 people attended an open house at West Kentucky Community & Technical College April 14 at the Anderson Technical Building.

The open house provided opportunities for individuals to explore higher education. Faculty and staff were available to discuss admissions, financial aid, career options and credit transfers.

Emily Courtney of Marion was the winner of a laptop computer which was given out during the open house. Prospective student  Holly Haws  of Ballard County was so overjoyed when she won an iPod during the event that she hugged a WKCTC photographer  saying, “Thank you! I’m really thinking about going here.”
