Employees of the Quarter

Dr. Barbara Veazey recently presented gift certificates to Debbie Swain and Summer Holland in recognition of being selected faculty and staff members of the semester.

Swain was selected by the Employee Recognition Committee from four faculty nominations.  She was nominated by a fellow faculty member who described her as an awesome instructor whose main goal is the success of her students.  She spends countless hours making sure that all of her work is completed in a timely manner and that the needs of her students are met. Debbie accomplishes all of this while at that the same time demonstrating unwavering professionalism.

Holland was selected by the Employee Recognition Committee from eight staff nominations.  She was nominated by a fellow employee who described her as being professional, courteous, patient, and kind to everyone she encounters.  Summer is often one of the first contacts people have with the college, and her customer service skills are exceptional.  Her friendly, caring attitude and genuine concern for our students will help to positively impact our student enrollment.

Debbie and Summer both received a $100 gift certificate along with a reserved parking space for their use this quarter.  They truly are two individuals who are Making A Difference at West Kentucky Community and Technical College!

We also want to recognize those individuals who were nominated in addition to Debbie and Summer for their contributions as WKCTC employees: Shari Gholson, Carolyn Perry, Constance Frank, Paula Kunath, David Elder, Johanna Zeiler, Carla Monroe, Tammy Pendergrast, Edna Pierce, and Julie Moore.
